Morris C. Deshel (1887-1948) and Geraldine Grace Shultes Deshel (d. 1966) both graduated from Morris High School (Bronx, N.Y.) in 1906. Both lived in the Bronx from the mid 1890s to 1923, he originally at 546 East 183rd Street, she at 911 East 189th Street. They married in 1913 and lived at 2486 Valentine Ave. He received a law degree from New York University and also coached tennis at DeWitt Clinton High School, she taught at P.S. 4.
